LPI is proudly based in Huntingfield, south of Hobart, Tasmania. All operations—including engineering, research, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer support—are located within our purpose‑built facility.

Operating from a single site allows us to maintain strong quality control, technical consistency, and close collaboration across teams. From Tasmania, we design, manufacture, and export lightning protection systems to customers worldwide, supporting Australian manufacturing and skilled local employment.

LPI is internationally recognised as a leading contributor to the advancement of the lightning protection industry. Our personnel maintain a strong presence within relevant Australian and international standards committees and have authored numerous internationally peer‑reviewed technical papers.

LPI’s Research & Development team provides specialist lightning protection advice to customers operating in some of the most lightning‑prone regions of the world. The team is actively engaged in product design and innovation, anticipating customer needs through extensive high‑voltage testing conducted at laboratories worldwide. This work is further supported by the use of industry‑leading robotics at LPI’s headquarters in Hobart, Australia.
